The Start of the Garden

Ground has been broken on the property... but not for a new building. This time, it is the beginning of what will be a nearly two acre garden, making use of some of the most fertile soil on the grounds.

The goal is for this garden to eventually produce crops that will help feed the children of the orphanage, and even possibly have extra to sell back to the community. Not only will it serve the practical purpose of nourishment, but it will also be used to teach the children about agriculture and the relationship between God, man, and nature.

Check out the photos of the groundbreaking below:

Second building almost completed

The kitchen/dining room is almost completed at the Children's Home. This adds to the first cottage and now we are lacking one more cottage before we can begin to take children.

The cottages are designed to take 5-6 children and house parents. This will provide the children a family atmosphere.
Charlie and Abby Smith are preparing to move to the orphanage next spring and help with getting the Living Water Children's home off the ground.

Please help us build the second cottage by giving to the Living Water Children's Home. You can find more information at www.gracepoint.org
