Miracles Still Happen

Once God has provided a vision, if it is truly from God, He always provides the means for that vision to be completed. Several miraculous things have occurred for the orphanage to be at this stage. We have seen God provide in the big obvious ways. And we have seen God take care of the small details.
Just when we had given up hopes to purchase a piece of property for the orphanage, God provided the land and also generous men to help purchase it. The land is in a perfect beautiful location, not too far from the city, but far enough that it will be a safe environment for children. This was an obvious answer to prayer. But another story needs to be shared to illustrate how God works in the most tiny details to get things done.
A mission team from Grace Point was preparing to go to La Ceiba to work with the orphans and help do some work on the property. Michelle Brand was considering going but wanted her sister and rest of her family to join them. Little did we know at Grace Point that her family had lived in Honduras and her father, Othel Brandran a business exporting fruit to the United States. Her father knew some of the key people on the Orphanage board. He didn't know that until after he arrived in La Ceiba. Michelle's family agreed to go and because of their knowledge and ties with Standard Fruit in La Ceiba, we were able to correct a major erosion problem on the border of the property.
Othel's sister wrote a letter to Standard Fruit asking for assistance. Standard called two days later and set up a meeting with our team. Jorge Williams, a manager at Standard Fruit went with us to the orphanage to check out the land and the problem. On the way he told us how God had saved him and healed him from a major illness. He was now pasturing a church and felt a real call from God to help with the orphanage. Pastor Williams was able to get the equipment needed to make changes that correct the erosion problem, something that would have cost us a considerable amount.
Is it a coincidence that one person is asked to go whose family is from Honduras who has the contacts to get the needed help? Is it a coincidence that the person sent to help in a born-again, spirit-filled believer? I don't think so. The odds on that are just too incredible. God works in the large and the small details. We can't wait for to see what God is going to do next!
