Work begins on Orphanage!

A mission team from Grace Point Church helped with the actual ground breaking for the first building of the Living Water Children's Home in March. The ground was dug and prepared for the footting to be poored. The walls are now going up on the first building which will be a dorm, made up of have three bedrooms, one bathroom, a small living room and a deck. The work is being managed by the Living Water Board of directors and board president René Laffite with oversite provided by missionary Teresa Devlin. The first dorm should accomodate six children and an adult. This will be the prototype for the future dorms. The second building will be a kitchen and dinning room. It is exciting to see the dream becoming a reality.

We are still raising funds for the construction and we build as we receive money. The Hondruans are raising money and those in the United States have pledged to at least match what they raise. We have raisded over $10,000 for construction but much more is needed. Please help out by giving to the Honduras Living Water Children's Home. You may make checks payable to Grace Point Church and mail to 9750 Huebner Rd. 78240. All donations are tax deductable. Be sure to designate that your gift is for the Honduras Living Water Children's Home
